Harrison and White
Harrison and White (HAW) was an award-winning architectural practice formed in 2006 by directors Stuart Harrison and Marcus White. New ideas and considerable experience allowed creative solutions to architectural problems. The practice closed in January 2025.
Innovation and experience were combined to deliver a range of project types including housing, education, recreational, institutional and commercial types. The practice undertook numerous master-planning and urban design projects, developing significant expertise in adapting existing buildings. Harrison and White has worked in education across primary, secondary and tertiary areas - for MACS, VSBA and RMIT.
The practice was part of the RMIT New Academic Street (NAS) project, which won the Victorian Architecture Medal and National Awards in Education and Urban Design (RAIA) in 2018. The office was collaborator and lead consultant for the Albert Park Office and Depot project for Parks Victoria, completed in 2019. The office is completed projects for Healesville Sanctuary, part of several zoology focused projects undertaken between 2021 and 2024.
